The 30-Day Plan
A specific 30-day plan telling you exactly what to do in the DTAA. After the 30 days are up, you can repeat this plan and/or adapt it.
If you miss a day, don’t worry, pick up where you left off the day before.
- Day 1 – Take a look around, check out the Orientation and Introduce Yourself
- Day 2 – Start the In Focus Essentials Course (Lesson 1)
- Day 3 – Revisit Lesson 1 above
- Day 4 – Start the In Focus Essentials Course (Lesson 2)
- Day 5 – Revisit Lesson 2 above
- Day 6 – Visit the Leaderboard and tackle a Two-Minute Challenge
- Day 7 – Start the In Focus Essentials Course (Lesson 3)
- Day 8 – Revisit Lesson 3 above
- Day 9 – Start learning a fun riff
- Day 10 – Day off or consolidate the above
- Day 11 – Revisit lessons 1, 2, and 3 of the Essentials course
- Day 12 – Improve your chord changes with Part 1 (in the Essentials course)
- Day 13 – Revisit the lesson above and check your progress with the Leaderboard
- Day 14 – Take a look around the Members’ Area
- Day 15 – Do Part 2 of improving your chord changes in the Essentials course
- Day 16 – Join in on the Mini-Forum
- Day 17 – Take a Quiz
- Day 18 – Day off or consolidate the above
- Day 19 – Once again, revisit and solidify parts 1,2, and 3 of the Essentials Course
- Day 20 – Tackle another Two-Minute Challenge
- Day 21 – Plan your next fingerpicking or strumming song in the Playlists
- Day 22 – Start your next fingerpicking or strumming song
- Day 23 – Join in on the Mini-Forum and ask a question
- Day 24 – Keep working on your new song
- Day 25 – Take a Quiz
- Day 26 – Day off or consolidate the above
- Day 27 – Once again, revisit what you learn in parts 1,2, and 3 of the Essentials Course
- Day 28 – Keep working on your new song
- Day 29 – Retake one of the Challenges you took
- Day 30 – Start recapping the steps from this month and revisit the Leaderboard.
This practice routine works… because it teaches you exactly what you need to know for the next 30 days, in just 20 minutes per day. You can repeat it afterwards too. If you do, just adjust lessons where necessary – replacing any lessons completed with the next in the series.
