#49 – A simple pinkie workout!
A lot of people complain that they have a weak and inflexible pinkie. That is often true but most guitarists rarely use their pinkie more than a dozen or so times per day. Here is a simple challenge to ensure you use and therefore strengthen your pinkie faster every day!
This is great advice. I have been doing this already and I have definitely noticed improved strength in my pinkie. It is especially beneficial when playing riffs on my electric guitar where the pinkie is used more. I do this exercise with my ring finger too. Thx Dan! Hope Archie had a fun Halloween! Good stuff, Nancy. Yeah, the pinkie gets so underused and most people barely use it in day to day life. Good stuff applying to the ring too which sometimes also gets underused. Excellent exercise. I added hammer on and pull off with ring to pinkie since that’s where I struggle most with using it.
