Two-Minute Challenges
#1 – Chord Changing Speed and Chord Clarity
My score was 8 full loops of the changes of G-D-Em-C-Am
Hints and Tips
- Don’t compete with me but compete with yourself
- Be consistent with your technique
- Don’t rush and remember chord clarity is better than sloppy fast changes
- Use ‘Pivoting’ where you can (see ‘The Art of Pivoting’ below) on the changes from G-D, Em-C, C-Am
- Get on the tips of your fingers and remember good posture will help with this (see ‘Classical With a Strap Posture’ below)

This is a great challenge to do in conjunction with the blog post “The Art of Pivoting” – re-learning 5 chord changes in an easier way and then using 3 of them in this challenge is an excellent way to consolidate! Thanks Dan.
Adding this to my work in progress, only could do 2 times in 30 seconds.. but this is a great challenge for me.
